Bagels


We merely had bagels and fruit for dinner. They either had Tofutti cream cheese or flax oil and all-fruit strawberry or raspberry jam or Just Like Honey. They are made out of spelt and oat flour.

Did you make your own bagels? I found a recipe for BUCKWEHAT (gluten free) bread and english muffins sometime ago. The recipe is available e' purchase by Buckwheat Pete. If you google him you'll find it. I found it a wonderfully easy way to make gluten free bread, slicable for sandwiches and my son loves the english muffins.

Oh, I have buckwheat flour! Yes, I made these ones. The only bad part was that during the rising after formation of the bagels, they stuck to the pan, which I wasn't expecting. The spelt and oat flours worked well together.
